What does “longest side” mean?
Custom shapes are not always square. A 60 mm snowboard is 60 mm from its topmost point to its bottommost point, while a wide emblem is 60 mm from left to right. The shorter dimension changes with the artwork’s proportions.
That means two designs ordered at the same size can occupy space differently. Look at the overall shape, not only the number: a narrow vertical design will feel different in the hand from a nearly square portrait.
